A Story About Liquid Natural Gas (LNG)

Adnas

Commissioner

Adnas is a retired police general with a long and decorated career since graduated from Akademi Kepolisian Republik Indonesia (Indonesia Police Academy) in 1988 until 2020 as Police Chief of Gorontalo Region.

Adnas acquired his master degree of Management from Universitas Sam Ratulangi in 2002, and his doctorate in Strategic Management from Universitas Negeri Bengkulu in 2020.

Between 2022 – 2024 Adnas held position as an Expert for Legal Oversight in SKK Migas (Oil and Gas Regulator Body of Indonesia).

Since 2024 Adnas join BPI as Commissioner

Ignatius Tallulembang

President Director

Ignatius is an expert in oil and gas industry, having long career in Pertamina for more than 30 years. Graduated from Universitas Gajahmada majoring Chemical Engineering,  his last position before joining as president director of BPI was chief executive officer of PT. Kilang Pertamina Indonesia. Before that, Ignatius held the position of Director of Mega Projects in Petrochemicals Processing division of PT. Pertamina. During his tenure as director of Mega Projects, Ignatius successfully engaging some projects including :

 

  • Refinery Master Plan Phase 1 Balongan
  • Refinery Development Master Plan – Balikpapan
  • Blue Sky Project – Cilacap
  • Resid Fluid Catalytic Cracking Project – Cilacap

Lukman Mahfoedz

Deputy President Director

Lukman has total experience of 44 years in the energy business, i.e., Construction, Upstream Oil & Gas, LNG, Power & Infrastructure, and Copper Smelter in the various executive level positions. Graduated from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya, Mechanical Engineering and completed an Advanced Executive Management program at Northwestern University.

Started career in the Power Plant construction project with (IHI/Jurong Engineering) and Bechtel for Pertamina Balikpapan Refinery as Construction Engineer, and then joined Huffco/VICO  Indonesia, a major gas supplier of  Bontang LNG  (1983 – 2000),  last position as Vice President, before its assigned in BP Indonesia (2000 – 2005), to oversee Tangguh LNG Project Development, as  Senior Vice President. 

From 2005 to 2017, he worked for PT Medco Energi International  Organization  in the various position , i.e :  President Director of PT Medco Exploration & Production  Indonesia, Corporate Project Director and then  CEO of  PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk. From 2017  – 2020 as CEO &  Project Director of PT Amman Mineral Industri (AMIN), a subsidiary of PT Amman Mineral International Tbk for   developing Copper Smelter project in Nusa Tenggara Barat.

Lukman is also active as Board of Director in Indonesian Petroleum Association (IPA) for several years and served as President of IPA for two consecutive years (2013 and 2014).

Bahrul Karim

Director

Bahrul has more than 30 years combined experience in construction, project management, oil & gas industry, and petrochemical industry. Graduated from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh November (ITS) – Surabaya majoring civil engineer, Bahrul started his career at Royal Dutch Shell as Engineering Manager for Downstream Projects in 2003 and last position held in 2017 was Domestic & South East Asia Business Manager.

Since 2017 Bahrul join to PT. Butonas Petrochemical Indonesia as director, and also to PT. Dutamas Abadi Investama as director. In Dutamas Abadi he built business relationship with Shell Global Solution to jointly provide various license and technology for energy companies in Indonesia.
